Expressive, colorful and painterly titled "I Worried A Stranger Was At My Door", a 30" x 40" acrylic painting, original and one of a kind painted in the New Mexico studio of Thomas Hill.
The artwork is a colorful abstract painting featuring bold strokes and a vibrant palette of yellows, oranges, blues, reds, and greens. The composition does not readily convey a specific form or subject, allowing the viewer's imagination to interpret the interplay of colors and shapes. The central part of the painting includes a dark, almost black form, which serves as a visual anchor amidst the surrounding warm and cool hues. The brushwork varies in density and direction, contributing to the dynamic feel of the piece. The overall effect is one of movement and energy, inviting a subjective, emotional engagement from the viewer.
It is hand-signed and dated both on the front and the back. High quality acrylic paints used on a 1 1/2" deep gallery wrapped quality 10 ounce thick cotton duck canvas. Stretched on a reinforced wooden frame, this gallery wrapped canvas is stapled on the back and painted on all sides to reveal a wraparound painting that does not require a frame.
It is ready to hang unframed and comes with all hanging hardware attached. It is archival and will last for decades to come.
This one-of-a-kind artwork would make a great addition to your home, your office, or as a gift.
