A flight of imagination to an ancient culture in this 30" x 40" acrylic painting, original and one of a kind painted in the New Mexico studio of Thomas Hill.
The artwork is a vibrant, abstract acrylic painting with a yellow and orange backdrop that could suggest a flame or a warm, ethereal glow. At the center is a structured form that resembles a window or perhaps a piece of furniture with shutters, predominantly in a neutral palette of grays accented with splotches of green. The top and bottom of this central form are anchored by horizontal bands: the top band is a rich brown, while the bottom one features a darker hue, possibly a mahogany, with six bright red accents that could be interpreted as books or decorative elements. The painting is alive with brushstrokes that blend and bleed into one another, creating a textured and layered effect.
It is hand-signed and dated both on the front and the back.
High quality acrylic paints used on a 1 1/2" deep gallery wrapped, quality 10 ounce thick cotton duck canvas. Stretched on a reinforced wooden frame, this gallery wrapped canvas is stapled on the back and painted on all sides to reveal a wraparound painting. It is ready to hang unframed and comes with all hanging hardware attached. It is archival and will last for decades to come.
Original art is priceless and a welcome addition to any home or office.
