A 20" x 20"" square acrylic painting titled "The Lizard's Aquatic Leap", original, colorful and one of a kind painted in the New Mexico studio of Thomas Hill. This painting is heavily textured with a circle motif; the texture at interplay using beautiful colors of orange, red, green and yellow, both muted and vibrant hues. Metallic highlights are in the central image as well.

The artwork is an abstract painting that features a prominent circular motif at the center, surrounded by a multitude of colors and textures. The background consists of a soft blend of pastel hues, including pinks, yellows, and greens that create a dreamy atmosphere around the central form. The circle itself has dynamic, textured brushstrokes in darker tones which contrast with the light background, comprising a spectrum of colors such as blue, black, purple, and rust. These brushstrokes give the impression of movement within the static shape, suggesting a swirling or rotational energy. The outer boundary of the circle has a thicker, lighter outline, enhancing its visual impact. Specks and dashes of color, possibly from splattering techniques, are scattered around the painting, adding to the overall vibrant and energetic feel of the piece.

It is hand-signed and dated both on the front and the back. High quality acrylic paints used on a 7/8" gallery wrapped quality 10 ounce thick cotton duck canvas. Stretched on a strong wooden frame, this gallery wrapped canvas is splined and stapled on the back and painted on all sides to reveal a wraparound painting that requires no additional framing.
